Christmas and Snow!

We had christmas eve at the Perkins this year. We had our usual pizza, wings, and Subway. Hinkley was really exctied this year for Christmas. He wanted a motorcycle. Santa came over on Christmas eve and Hinkley was the first one in line to tell Santa what he wanted. Once Santa heard what he wanted he replied " Oh no not tell your older". Hinkley did not like this and continued to ask him for a motorcycle the entire time he was there. Christmas morning we woke Hinkley up and Dad told him Santa came. He proped his head up as fast as he could and said " Lets go see Dad" I woke Ezra up and we went up stais with our flashlight. Hinkley spotte his chair and tent. Ezra had fun crawling through the tunnels. Hinkley however, started hitting me while saying motorcycle! He then grabbed a presant and started hitting me with that. I hurried and grabbed him his toy motorcycle from his stocking. He giggled and was content. He would have been fine with out recieving anything else. Ezra enjoyed unwrapping his presants and playing with them after. Here Hinkley is at Grandma Mills playing with his new helicopter.

We woke up one morning to find the grounds covered in snow! Ezra stared out our bedroom window longing to play in it. We suited up and went out to build a snowman. Ezra loved it until he got cold. Him amd McKay did not last long. Hinkley, Sydney ( his cousin) and some of the neighbor kids and I stayed out to build a snowman.

For Halloween the boys were Angry Birds. Ezra's costume ended up being a little small but they stil were cute Angry birds.

ITS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!

Every year my family goes to Rocky Point for a week. It is my all time favorite vacation. This year we went during my birthday and what more can a gal ask for than sand, ocean, and sunshine! We were able to stay for the entire week this time and all of us had a blast!

Hinkley and Ezra both loved the sand. As long as these two boys are outside they are just peachy. Ezra had a blast splashing around in the water, but Hinkley was not a big fan. Here are some pictures of our beach fun!

The best part of this trip is the dolphins. My brother brought his jetskies and whenever we saw the dolphins, we would ride out there to them. The dolphins would follow us and play with us. They would follow the same speed as the jetskies and jump around it. One day there was a baby dolphin with its mama. It was so cute, it would stay with its mama the whole time. Thats right we moved to Show Low. It has taken me a while to post this but I was hoping to have pictures, but once we were all moved in, I grabbed my camera to get some shots of Ezra and something is wrong with the screen! Every picture is dark and barely visible, so now I need a new camera! Its a bummer so there will be no new pictures. Living in Show Low has been fun. I do, however, have to cook every night again! Its nice being close to Walmart and of course my parents. The last two thursdays ago I met with Tammy, Traci, Hallie and their kids at McDonalds. We got them Happy Meals and let them play. It was fun. My little Hinkley was a little shy at first but by the end he loved it. Then last thursday I met with Tammy, Brooke and her kids and Hallie's kids and Traci's kids at McDonalds again. Then went swimming. Traci's boy Jack was not scared at all of the water. He was playing with a ball and just wanted to see how deep he could go. By the time I got to him he was neck deep and barley starating to get a little scared. As I followed Jack around Hinkley stayed barley ankle deep and instead of splashing around he liked to watch everyone else. Every now and then he would get a ball and play with it. He is my little observer. We had lots of fun.

I know its been quite some time but since I don't have pictures, I have not posted. Since we moved here McKay got a job at Senoir benifits in Taylor and really likes it. We are thinking of moving to Show Low in one of my parents rentals but have not decided for sure. McKay is able to come home for lunch everyday and I really like that. Hinkley is learning a lot of new words and tricks. He loves to play with his cousins ande when him and Jack are together they are quite the pair. They are constantly making messes or breaking something. Ezra is now rolling and sitting up. He is such a happy baby even though it is a pain to get him to sleep! He is not a fan of food at all and spits it out before I can even put it in his mouth! I am being a snowboard instructor part time. at sunrise. I go up once a week. So far I have not had to teach a lesson and its so fun to get out and snowboard again!!

Luckily she was able to get some goods ones with Hinkley not evan wanting to look at the camera and Ezra was fussing, but I love them. Officially Moved

Last weekend we moved to SNOWFLAKE! We thought we weren't moving until October but thinkgs changed and ended up moving last weekend. Finally after three truck load, two trailers and a car load we have everything moved and out of our house. We are currently satying at McKays parents until we can find something to rent. Hinkely has loved being in the cooler weather and as soon as he wakes up he is outside playing. McKay loves his new job at the Wind farms and does not miss the office life at all. Ezra just keeps growing and his getting rolls. I love it. Ho pefully will have some pics of him soon.

We went to Santo Thomas, Mexico this memorial weekend, Thats about an hour from Rocky Point. When we first got into Rocky Point we did some shopping and then went to the Light Houst for dinner, Below are some pics from dinner.

Here we are the next day at the beach. Hinkley loved playing in the sand. I had a hardtime getting him to walk because he just wanted to sit and play in the sand.

Hinkley was getting all the attention when he started banging his head on the couch and then he would grab his face like it hurt. It was pretty funny.

McKay grabbed this dead Sting Ray. If you look close there is a bite taken out of it. Later we did see a live one closeto where we were swimming.

The first day we got up to play in the water. I was not feeling well. I had a lot of pain in my lower back and I could not tell if it was contractions of maybe another kidney stone. Sure enough the pain got worse and i figure out I have another KIDNEY STONE. I was so mad because it had to happen while we were in Mexico. There were two American Doctors staying just a couple house up from us. They gave me a shot for the pain , which onlydulled the pain a little, but told us to go back to Amedrica to get everything checked out. So we headed back. I was nausea either from the pain or the shot but I threw up the whole way home. By the time we got to Maricopa my pain changed. Instead of being constant it changed where it would get reallystrong and then go away but woudl last for maybe a minute then woudl come back a few minutes later. But we stopped at the Urgent Care there who told usto go to the hospital. We got to the hospitl and they put heart moniter on the baby and all that fun stuff. They didan Ultra sound on my kidney but I was so dehydrated she said se could not see very well but could tell the Kidney was inflamed like a stone was in there. When I got back and the Doc sa me she said I was having contractions every two to three minutes. So I figured out why the pain changd in Maricopa. So they gave me two shots to make them stop. Plus my vein kept blowing from the IV. It took them4 times before they got it. So my two arms became a pin cusion. But at last it all came to an end and I was able to go home about 11. Poor McKay and Hinkley had to leave there vacation and spend all day in a car and hospital. Sunday mornng we decided to go back to Mexico. I got pain killers if the stone moved again and I figured the contractions was just from the pain and driving. But on the way back I got a Sprite and Hinkley was eating something from Taco Bell that must of been just a little spicy for him so I gave him a drink. He loved it, would not give me it back. I had to hide it so he would not see it. But I thought he looked cute with this drink that is as big as he is sitting down.

McKaY met some new friends that let him fish with him. The rest of the week was totally worth going back and the weather was perfect. Not too hot but not cold either. mAY IS THE perfect time to go.

iTS Been a While

I know it has been forever since I have updated the blog. The thing is our computer has been acting funky so I really don't use it that much. Hopefully we can get a new one soon and then I will put pictures on the blog. HInkley turned ONE! I can't beleive it. He loves to make goofy faces and playing with Toots. All day he is picking up toy and shoving it in Toots face so she will paly with him. He would be really bored with out her. He is not walking yet and won't even try. Sometimes he will get the courage to let go of the couch but as soon as he does he is back holding on to it. Onetime he acidently took a step when he was just standing. He got really excited and stood up to try agian but instead of steping he just leaned forward tell he could reach the couch with his hands. Someday he just might get it.

For Hinkleys Birthday we went to McKays city, LA. We visited all of McKays mission people. Some that he baptized and others that were in the wards he served in. McKay had a grand ol' time. We had a dinner apt. every night and day visits. I was able to try new kinds of food from different cultues and was absoultley stuff. Every where we went they loaded my plate and as a ate put more on it. It was expected for me to finish is and I did not want to be rude. I was so sick after eathing at one house because I was so full. I do not think I have ever been that full in my life. We did get to go to the Fasion Center on Saturday and bought Hinkley a little skate board. Hinkley loves it. When Ifirst brought it out for him to play with, he said "ohh" and stated to push it around. The Tempers ( we stayed with) threw Hinkley a little Birthday party. He got a Huge cake and was able to just play in it in one corner. He did not like the frosting on his hands though so he would not eat it. Then on Wednesday we had family over for his birthday and he ate almost his whole piece of cake.

I found out I am having another boy! I thought for sure it was going to be a girl becasue I did not get near as sick like I did with Hinkley. But I'm super excited! Although I do think I can wait tell July for him to come and I feel like this pregnancy is going so FAST!

Alot has been going on the past couple of weeks. A couple of weekends ago, we went to Wilcox to check out Doug's new work shop.
Then we went to see all the old towns around it, mainly Tombstone.

Next we left Hinley with my mom and flew out with Russel, Tara, Marcus and Traci to HAWAII!!!!

We loved it and had so much fun. We stayed the first couple of nights in Waikiki and then the rest of the week in Sunsent Beach on the North Shore. At Waikiki we tried surfing. Ofcourse McKay picked it right up and was able to catch some waves. We also shopped around and ate well. Sunday we went to Pearl Harbor and the swap meet.

The Best part was coming home to see HINKLEY!. I loved Hawaii but missed Hinkley so much. I came home to see him pulling him self up on things, cutting a tooth, and actually crawling on his knees now. He still scoots but every now and then he crawls.

I just love Labor Day. Its serious one of my favorite hollidays. Every year my family on my mom side goes camping at Greens Peak and every year it always pours on us but I still just love it. Its chilly enough to wear sweaters, the fresh air, fourwheeling, and haning out by the campfire.

Hinkley new toy. I got this at Goodwill for $1.50. I was pretty excited. Then a lady in my ward gave me a jumper for FREE. Its in great condition and Hinkley loves it. I have a video on my phone and he is just twirling and laughing aways. I can't figure out how to get it on my computer.

Do you ever see somthing that you really like but either doesnt fit right or you think I can make that myself? I do it all the time and once I try I wonder why did I ever start this. I saw a dress at Charlette Russe that I just loved. Of course it was mid thigh so I decided I was going to make one. Shauna's Birthday was coming up so I just made this one for her. I had no idea what I was doing and actually am surprised it turned out. It took me like three hours to remember to do a zipper and I am not sure it did any good, its still hard to put on. I love tring to do new things but sewing makes me soooo frustrated. At least Shauna realy likes it. HappyBirthday!

6 months

Hinkely had his check up apt. He is 27 3-4 in 75% weighs 13.9 and that puts him at a huge 3% and the head was in 30% but I don't remeber the circumfrence. He also has been scooting along since we got home from lake powell. He is so fast one minute he is in the living room and I turn around and he is in the kitchen trying to eat dog food. Luckily for him I caught him just before he put it in his mouth. Also he said boo! I know its hard to beleive but McKay caught it on my phone. He has yet to repeat it though. We are practicing.

Fall has come early

Yesterday I was cleaning and found my fall decerations and I thought perfect timing I can bring them out. McKay comes home and says " oh fall came early this year" I said no fall starts in August right. He just fabe me the usaul look of and I married you. So my house is decorated for fall and its going to stay, I'm even thinking of making some. This summer as gone by so fast. We have gone to the lake with the Perking at Bartlett and Lake Powell with the Mills. Two years in a row I have gone to Lake powell with no camera. It saddens me so sorry no pictures. Just check the in laws theres are pretty cute. Here are a few below.They just dont get cutter than that!

Today I found Hinkley playing with the door stopper. He has found it twice already. I realized maybe its time to get the poor kid some toys!

My camera battery is dead so I have no pictures.Mckay got an old fishing boat. We took it out last weekend to Cayon Lake and Toots came with us. Toots was in the boat and I was holding it to the dock while McKay parked the truck. As usual Toots started freaking out when Mckay left. She had her front legs on the dock and the back in the boat. She kept jumping up and off of the dock. Well the boat starated to drift and I thought.. Toots you are going to fall in... yep she did right then. Now any one who knows me knows that my dogs are like my kids.. ok now that I have a a kid not that mcuh but pretty close. So my heart was pounding and I jumped in the boat to try to grab her. Well she completly sunk. I could not see her at all. Then I see her trying to paddle up, before her head could come up the water she sunk again. I tried grabbing her while holding on to the dock, meanwhile Hinkley has been sitting on the dock the whole time by himslef. I reached for her but the boat was driffitng again and I missed, as I'm yelling Toots , like a mother would yell at her child I final was able to grab her. Then I threw her on the boat, finally being able to catch my breath. Poor Toots was shaking. She just laid down and wimpered a little. Fishing wa not that much of a better experience. I tend to be bad luck and as we got out of the buoy the boat died. We are not able to start it so we fish any way. We did not even get a bite. Later a nice couple pulled us in to the dock . On the way home Mckay pulled off on a little bay and caught a pretty big fish while I was feeding Hinkley in the Truck. So the night turned out to be a success once I was out of the picture.

Fun Times and Bad Times

I just love baby feet. Aren't they cute. Im going to get the bad times out of the way first there no fun any ways. The past couple of weeks I have noticed pain in my lower right back. I just figured it was from doing yoga or my work outs so I paid no attention to it and made McKay rub it alot. Well yesterday I woke up around five with major pain in my lower right back and lower stomach. It was almost as bad as labor pains. I did not know what to do so we went to the emergency room. They gave me some pain killers to ease the pain, thats some weird stuff. They took some X rays and did a cat scan on me. Turns out I have a Kidney stone that is too big to pass. 7ml. Today Shauna took me to the Neurolgist. He showed me the Kidney stone and it was heart shape, he thought that was funny. Anyways I have to go to the hospital next week to get some kind of wave blast done to my kidney to break the stone up. They have to put me to sleep and everything. Oh well as long as I still get to go on our lake trip that Friday I will be fine. Thanks again Shauna and Shannon for helping me out.

Last two saturdays there was kind of an over cast so we decided to do a samll hike. We took Toots and Hinkley. I forgot to put the picture on here but we saw a big iguana with a yellow head and a small frog in a crevest of a rock that I have no idea how it got there. Mckay went hiking a little ways while I was feeding Hinkley and he said he saw a big snake that was a clear white color, glad I did not see it.

Then on her Aleia Photography link.She had an idea to put him in my green basket. It was his last one so he was getting fussy so she was not able to get a picture of him. I thought it was such a good idea I had to try it. Of course my picture is not near as good as hers would have been. But he is still a cutie in it.

This weekend we went up to Snowflake and Show Low for Mothers Day. I was able to see my newest neice Mariah. She is just two weeks old and is a doll. I wanted one of just her but ofcourse my camera battery died.

2 Months

Yesterday I took Hinkley to his 2 months appt. He did not have to get his shots yet because there was some screw up with our insurance and they took him off of it for some reason, but he is now back on it so he will get his shots next week. Turns out my little guy is now 22 1/4 inches that put him in th 50% of length and he now weighs 10 lbs 4 oz., that puts him in 20% of weight. So he is still a small thing, but I love it. I found out that the red dot he has ( some of you know where) is just a strawberry birthmark and most of the time it goes away, but because of his location its very possible it won't. Thats what I thought it was at first becasue my sister had one and hers went away. Easter weekend we wen tup north for y nephew Stockton's blessing. He is such a cutie. I just got one picture of him and its not in his blessing outfit which I am bummed I did not get one. But here our some pics.

This post is a little late. I started doing it last week but did not finish so everyone has probably already seen the pictures from other blogs but thats ok. Hinkley was blessed March 29. What Else we have been up to;

I have started working with The Census Bureau. I work 40 hours a week just verifing addresses. I really like it except that I have to leave Hinkley. I hate leaving him. Ashleigh and I worked out a trade where she watches Hinkley for me on Monday and Tuesdays while I try to get in as much work as I can and I will watch Roman on Thursdays and Fridays while she works at the bank. I started training two weeks ago and last week was my first "on the job week" I was getting up around 5 or 6 and getting in 12 hours a day. I did not mind because I got paid to walk outside and I love being outside!! What I am doing is supposed to go through June. When I started training I could not possibly think how it would take us, a group of 18 people, three months to verify address in a 50 mile radius. Well I got a phone call today that we have already completed our area ( 7 days being on the job) and they are trying to figure out what else we can do. They said they might pair me up with some one who is struggling and help them complete their area or let us help the other groups, so I will be going outside of Queen Creek. So who knows whats going to happen I just might already be out of a job. Whatever happens is cool at least I will not have to leave Hinkley any more!!!

A little about whats giong on

I can't believe my little Hinkley is already a month old. He is growing fast and weighs probably around 8 pounds ( thats a guess). This past week he has been constipated, so he has had some raunchy farts, he is definately related to his Uncle Anthon.(luv ya Anth) He has started to eat more but he is still waking up every couple of hours in the night to eat, even more now that he has not been feeling well. But I am still sure he is the best baby. Minus this last week he hardly cries, I have to let him get really hungry for him to cry. The first time I took him out for a couple of hours I had to change him in the car. I just got done feeding him and was in the drivers seat of my car. As soon as I took his diaper off he decided to poo agian. It was like a fire hose. It shot all the way to the door. It got on the door handle and slid all the way down to the floor, I used all of my wipes to clean it up and there was still poo left. Luckily I had a blanket underneath him so very little of it got on me. We went home after that.

We decided to bless Hinkley March 29 for any one who wants to come.

I applied for the Census Beuro job a while back. They finally called me. At first I was not going to do it because it involves working 40 hours a week, and going to a week training that lasts all day long! But I decided to give it a try. I am going to miss Hinkley like crazy when I have to leave him all day but at least he will be with his Grandma or his Aunt Shannon, Thanks again guys! Hopefully this won't take up all of my time. I have been working on some projects. I finally finished my Forever family sign and almost done with the decoration in the green room, Next I want to make a changing table in Hinkley's room. I have figured out the measurements so all I need is the wood. Hopefully that won't take to long to get. Then maybe some day curtians....

Hinkley Mckay

I was born at 4:27 am on February 14, 2009. I weighed 6.6 pounds and was 20 and 1/4 inches. I came on the day Arizona was made a state, Valentines day and my Uncle Geralds birthday. Moma and Daddy wanted me to be born on Friday the 13. That why she was scheduled to be induced early Friday morning. The hospital called her and said there was no room for her, she had to wait. I was okay with that. Finally she got admitted into the hospital and started started labor at 5:15 pm. Almost 12 hours later I arrived. It was a little scary at first but once my moma held me I was able to calm down. My first car ride home was on Sunday. I slept the whole way. Daddy and I are best friends. He changes my diaper and stays up with me so moma can sleep. He is pretty good at this Daddy stuff and knows how to wrap me up real tight in my blankets. Moma is learnin and each day does better, Today she gave me a sponge bath and made me really mad, its not like I'm really that dirty any ways. But she fed me and made feel all better, Daddy got to see me first smile on Sunday and I found my thumb, it taste real good.

I don't know where it went though some times I can't find it. Grandma Perkins was able to stay with us this week. She helped mommy and I out a bunch. She did really good taking care of us. Grandma Mills brought us yummy food and was able to spend time with me. I already love them both so much. I also met my cousin Roman. He thinks he is pretty big and tough now but just wait I will catch up. We will be pretty good buddies though.

I have a dog. She likes to lick my face and toes. Daddy and Mommy tries to keep her away from me though. Any time I cry she is right there making sure I am ok. She is my watch dog.

My last day of work was Thursday and I am not sure what I am going to do with myself while I wait for the baby to come. I am pretty sure my house will be the cleanest it has been. I have just over two weeks left now. My last doctors apt. my Doc said the baby is so low he could come any time. Well that got me excited and determined to have him soon. No matter how much walking/ jogging and keeping my self busy, I still have not had a painful contraction and I am dialated 1 cm. I guess I will just have to be patient. We finally got the babys room done. I love it! Some times I just go and sit in there.
I got a lot of cute stuff from my baby showers and cant wait to see the clothes on Hinkley. Here are some pictures of the room.

November update

Time is flying by. I am currently 27 weeks pregnant and counting down the days to Febuary 11. I just found out that my insurance will not kick in until January. So instead of getting a 3-D ultra sound this Thursday I will just be getting tested for pregnancy diabetes. Oh well at least I will have my delivery covered. I have been trying to get my food storage started. Thankfully Shannon has been helping me out with this. Friday we cann a batched of chicken and this week we will be going up to my moms to can some more. If we could ever find more pint jars I am sure we would be canning a lot more. This weekend we hiked the peralta trail with Marcus, Traci, Sam and Rachel. We got up at 5:30 to beat the ruch and heat. I tried telling Mckay that pregnant women to not get up that early. The hike was lots of fun and the view is amazing, Getting to the top was not hard for me. It was the way down. My energy was suddlenly gone and my legs wanted to give out and I am sure my stomach weighed a hundreds pounds. It did not help that I had to pee and the boys who were ahead of us, would jump out to scare us. The first time I serioulsy almost peed my pants. But I made it. My legs are regretting it but I am not. I would do it all over again. I love hiking!
We will be getting a new addition to our little fam sooner then we all thought. Yep a puppy! I have been wanting a dog forever. mainly a boxer or american bull dog. However Mckay's cousin Chance has two pugs who had puppies. We went to visit them one Sunday and the dogs played hide-o-seek with Chance. After that McKay was hooked and wanted one. So now in two weeks we will get our dog and I will finally have some company while Mckay is out playing Halo all night.

6 Quirks
1. Before I go to the bathroom I have to pull the shower curtain back to make sure no one is in there,no matter where I am at. I do not know why but I always feels some one is in there hiding waiting to scare me!
2. I tend to wait to put clean dishes away tell when Mckay is home. Maybe its because I feel like I have to get it done rather when I am alone Ican put it off.
3. I never know what to say after a compliment.
4.When I am alone I love to turn the radio on real load and dance, ya i still do that.
5. Late at night if you get me laughing I do not stop, eventually it turns to a cry.
6. I have no idea! I guess I do not have enough Quirks in me.

A Long Overdue Update

Well a lot has gone on since I last posted in March. We have kept ourselves pretty busy. We went to Rocky Point with my family. We went to Lake Powell with McKay's family. We are pregnant; 12 weeks. Due in February. I have been sick alot. We have moved out of our apartment and bought a house. We have to paint this weekend. So if anyone wants to come help, come on over. I quite my job at University of Phoenix and am in the process of getting another job. Once I move in to my house I will post some pictures. (ie.... Shannon really wrote this for me since Sherry hasn't posted in FOREVER!)

This weekend we hiked Siphon Draw/Flat iron. Wow this was one of my hardest hikes! Yet it wa also my favorite. Total hike was seven miles round trip. About two miles one way of it was more rock climbing than hiking. We had to climb over rocks, lift our selves up over big rocks, just hoping we wouldn't fall down. Well me at least! Once we got to the top it was worth it. The veiw was amazing. Plus the whole mountain was green and flowers were blossomed every where. Well you will just have to check out the pictures and see for your self!

Hello Everyone,
So I finally did it. I created a blog. I never wanted to because I work on a computer all day so why would I want to come home and look on the computer. But I did it. I only did it because I am bored while Mckay is off at a menitzfa. That is the Lobo way of saying bachelor party. Well if you are interested in reading this message instead of just looking at the pictures( like I do) McKay and I have been married since July 13, 2008. Yep Newly weds and we still act like it. Sorry! We both work at University of Phoenix. He is an Enrollment Counselor and I am a Finance Counselor. We are currently looking for a house and having some luck. Hopefully it will all go through. We keep busy on the weekends. WE are either Snowboarding, Hiking or just up in the mountains so you will not find us home much. Except now we are Sunbeams teachers so we have to make it back every Sunday. They are fun little punks that like to be load and run around the classroom, but we sure love it!. That's about it!
